The EXO at Excelsior Parc is located along the Dulles Toll Road corridor near Reston Town Center. The residential program is organized into two towers atop a landscaped plinth. A central single-story “link” building, inspired by early modernist pavilions, serves arrivals, communal uses, and management functions. The space between the two towers contains generous outdoor seating and dining areas, a large swimming pool, and abundant landscaping.

The EXO’s modularized wall and window compositions help to leverage construction efficiencies, while scattered balconies punctuate the elevations. Color-shifting metallic panels create a dramatic and ever-changing exterior character. Smart glass, deployed in all window assemblies, have the capability to adjust opacity to enhance occupant privacy and modulate solar transmittance, helping to optimize energy performance.
