Ascent St Petersburg is a 36-story mixed use development with 357 apartments, an AC Marriott Hotel with 172 guest rooms, and ground floor retail and restaurant spaces.  Located on 1st Avenue several blocks from the waterfront, it offers residents dramatic views of Tampa Bay, the Tampa skyline, and the Gulf of Mexico.  The exterior design, marked by a series of elongated angular balconies, draws inspiration from local historic buildings, waves, and native tree bark geometries.  Residential interiors are designed by Vignette Interior Design and include a rooftop clubhouse, co-working spaces, a state of the art fitness center, as well as an exclusive penthouse lounge.  The outdoor terrace atop the tower features a plunge pool, private cabanas, and areas for outdoor grilling, dining, and enjoying the expansive surrounding views.  The apartment and hotel share an elevated courtyard with a pool deck, outdoor lounges and grilling areas, and extensive landscaping.  The AC Marriott Hotel interiors were designed by DLR Group and includes a rooftop terrace with an operable shading system and a Cuban-inspired bar/restaurant designed by Ellis Adams Group.  The project was developed by Greystar in concert with Concord Hospitality.
