Joshua Cruz, LEED AP BD+C

Joshua graduated from the University of Virginia with a Masters and Bachelor of Science in Architecture with Minors in Urban and Environmental Planning, and Global Sustainability.  His experience includes mixed-use multifamily/hospitality at R2L, core and shell with a hospitality component at Cooper Carry and higher education in Philadelphia with KieranTimberlake.  In grad school, Joshua focused his research on sustainable design including topics like biomimicry, designing in a contemporary vernacular style, understanding the dynamics within co-living, constructing in mass timber/CLT, prefabrication and parametric environmental design.  Before studying architecture, Joshua served in the Singapore Armed Forces as a Platoon Commander and Second-In-Command.  On his days off, you can see him studying for his architecture exams, playing ultimate (frisbee) or sport climbing.
